I've spent more than two decades sitting with people in some of the most vulnerable, uncertain, and transformative moments of their lives — and I consider it a profound privilege every time.
My path into psychoanalytic work was shaped by a genuine fascination with the inner life: why we repeat the same patterns, why certain relationships feel impossible, why insight alone doesn't always produce change. These questions have guided my clinical practice and my own personal growth.
I work with adults from young adulthood onward, with particular experience supporting young professionals and college students navigating emotional, relational, professional, and existential questions. I also bring deep experience with trauma, addiction, grief, LGBTQ+ concerns, and spiritual exploration.
My Philosophy
My approach is fundamentally psychoanalytic and psychodynamic — meaning I believe that lasting change comes from understanding the roots of our suffering, not just managing its symptoms. I'm deeply curious about what lies beneath the surface: the early experiences, the unconscious patterns, the relational templates that shape how we move through the world.
At the same time, I'm integrative. I draw on mindfulness-based approaches, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and person-centered methods when they serve my clients. I hold spirituality and meaning-making as legitimate and important dimensions of human experience.
"My job is not to give you answers. It's to help you find your own — and to be with you in the search."
I practice with deep respect for cultural difference, identity, and the many ways oppression and systemic forces shape our inner lives. I work with diverse populations and am affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals and all backgrounds.
The therapeutic relationship itself is central to my work. Research consistently shows that the quality of the connection between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes — and I take that seriously. I aim to create a space that is warm, honest, challenging when needed, and reliably safe.
I see clients exclusively via telehealth throughout Massachusetts, which allows for flexibility and the comfort of working from your own space.
